10K at the arboretum!

We woke up REALLY early on Saturday to watch Kelly, Sam and Ryan run in the 10K race at the Dallas arboretum. They all had great runs- Kelly was one of the top overall finishers for the women and won $150 gift card. While they were running the race, Lucy and I did a little tour of the pumpkin display at the arboretum- and Lucy did a little modeling with the pumpkins.

Yesterday evening we went to our friends' house to watch the Baylor football game. They have a huge dog named Gus and Lucy isn't scared of him at all! Everytime we would give her a snack she would crawl over to Gus and feed it to him.... looks like she may need a dog someday.

Labor Day weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend down in Houston. We had a fun time hanging out with Jake, Kelly, Maria, Layla and The Hobsons. We also were very excited to see Melanie's great new apartment and even got to ride the train around the park with Lucy's Mimi! As you can see from the above picture... Lucy wasn't exactly thrilled about the train ride, but found it suitable for napping instead.
