A white Christmas!

We made the long 11 hour drive to meet up with my dad, sister and brother to vacation in Red River New Mexico. We saw so much snow and even tried out our skiing skills. For about 2 hours I was better than Sam at something- but he quickly picked up skiing and left me far behind haha.

Carson didn't think the snow would actually be waist deep!
Playing our favorite Shearer family game- Aquire!
Sam needed to teach Carson a lesson
Our Condo was at the top of this hill and we got so much snow on Friday that our cars couldn't make it up so we had to park at the bottom and hike up. We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you did also!

Christmas in Lumberton.

I had a great time in Lumberton visiting my mom and catching up with friends. These are my friends Christi, Courtney, and Jennifer...

And this is the four of us back in 2001 on a trip to Dallas- ha!

It was only a quick trip but its always nice to go back home :)

Dinner at the Melting Pot with Sam's mom and dad... Yum!
Our not-so-small church group Christmas party.

Thanksgiving Vacation

Our Thanksgiving horseback ride. The name of my house was Rowdy. Rowdy pretty much sums up my ride. ha!

We had some good food and good fun during our thanksgiving vacation to north central Arkansas. In fact, we had such a good time that we are still recovering- hence, I am writing this from home- sick day. Don't we have the best looking nieces and nephew?
