London part 2

Mom and Melanie were in London with Lucy when we got back from Madrid. We did a little more walking around the city and toured the houses of parlaiment as well as some shopping in Camden town.

we kept seeing people pose in the funniest ways- so Sam decided to spice up his own photo poses haha.

Cheers to being in Madrid with Elizabeth!!

You'll notice the absence of a certain tiny person in this post. We left Lucy in London and flew to Madrid for two days. The first few hours of the trip we couldn't talk about Lucy- it was hard to leave her behind for the night for the first time but we had SO much fun being in Spain!

Elizabeth is one of my best friends from HS and now lives in Madrid. She was such a GREAT tour guide!! I was so glad to see her and Sam and I would have been lost without her translating for us!

We loved sitting outside in Plaza Mayor after midnight (yea- thats right, out after midnight- it's rare that Sam and I are out that late! haha)

I hope we visit Spain again. We loved it!

London Part 1

For some reason, Sam and I had been thinking for weeks that we would leave for London on a Friday. Luckily, the Wednesday before we left Sam had me double check the tickets and we both realized we were leaving the NEXT day. That would have been such a big blunder on our part. So- blunder avoided, we took off on Thursday the 8th and headed for London. Lucy was great on the plane as well as the rest of the trip!

Our first full day in England we took a nice stroll from my Grandparents house to Kenwood House (parts of the movie Notting Hill were filmed there)
