Our Thanksgiving horseback ride. The name of my house was Rowdy. Rowdy pretty much sums up my ride. ha!
We had some good food and good fun during our thanksgiving vacation to north central Arkansas. In fact, we had such a good time that we are still recovering- hence, I am writing this from home- sick day. Don't we have the best looking nieces and nephew?
Sorry faithful blog checkers. I let this thing go neglected for quite a while.
"So what have you Swansons been up to?"
Well.... Our house is cracking so we've been entertaining foundation companies. ack. Not fun, but glad that we're taking steps to get it fixed.
I am officially done with class for the semester, Sam is looking forward to being done after Thanksgiving.
We've been playing alot of cards....
We finally completed our new bedroom by getting rid of the super heavy old wardrobe...
I am still consumed by school but I'm trying to cut out the late evenings and Saturdays. Finally!
It could be another month before a good post so I'll leave you with this:
Me: "Okay guys, time for your science test. Let's review a couple of things first... Who discovered gravity?"
Student shouts: "Moses!!"
Above is not just a gross picture of my ear but a shot of the new hole in my ear, and possibly evidence of a quarter-life crisis. This was the result of peer pressure and nothing to do last night. I had it pierced before but it fell out- so now its back. I felt like a teenager all over again when we went to get it done- but I think its cool (I just won't be able to sleep on the left side for a month or so).
What a lame post. But nothing else to report- just lots of work and school for these Swansons.

We're glad they decided to evacuate from Houston and hang out in Dallas!
Sam and I got last minute tickets from his work to see the Ranger Red Socks game. I graduated from high school with one of their pitchers, Clay Bucholz and I was hoping that he would be pitching that game so I could brag- but no such luck. At least we got to see the Rangers win big!
Jared, Becka and Eli came to visit us a few weeks ago. We had a fun time relaxing and playing games.

Sorry its been so long and no post. School has got me SWAMPED. I'm usually at school from 7am to almost 6pm and most saturdays. Also, my grad class started this week, it's a career and guidance class so it's actually going to be pretty interesting I hope. whew. I can't complain though- just looking forward to some of that sweet teacher vacation time. :)
