London Bound

I'm so excited, I just have to share... We just bought our tickets to London!! We are going to visit my family there this summer and I can't wait! I'm counting down the weeks already. It's been almost 5 years since my last visit and I really wanted to post some pictures from my last trip but... that was before my digital camera came along. So, I rooted around the internet to find these pictures. In the middle is basically what the view is like from my Grandparents house and on the bottom is a picture of Kenwood house which is a nice long walk from my Grandparent's house. I can't wait to show Sam all of my favorite London spots! I just wish June 27th would hurry up and get here!

Last weekend, Sam and I celebrated our first year of marriage. We have had the best year, we both agreed that it flew by too fast! This time last year, I never would have guessed that Sam would be working the AC biz, I would be teaching in a public school, or that we would be living in a house! If all of those people that advised me that the first year would be the hardest were right... then the next 60 or more should be fabulous! We have shared so many experiences, laughs, and adventures in the last 365 days! I can't imagine anyone in the world that I would enjoy spending all of those times with. I am just overwhelmed by the blessings that God gives us everyday and what a wonderful blessing it is to be married to my best friend!

So above are a few pictures of our anniversary get-away. We drove up to Hot Springs Arkansas for the weekend. Sam got us reservations and a really nice hotel. We had so much fun just relaxing and strolling around town. I can't wait to see what our 2008 will hold!

Incredible Pizza filled new year

Happy 2008! We rang in the New Year at a place called the Incredible Pizza Co. We had unlimited Pizza, arcade games, go karts, etc. It was a fun place to bring in the New Year! Oh... and there was a newly wed game in which Sam and I were put to shame. But we quickly got over it and we're off to celebrate our one year anniversary this weekend! Until then..

Jake and Kelly's new pad...

We spent the last days of 2007 in Houston helping Jake and Kelly get into their new house. We love your place guys and can't wait to come back when it has furniture! After I put the pictures into the computer I realized that I basically only took pictures of Maria and none of the house! But, who can blame me? She's just too cute!
